CBC is a CHURCH

— an independent visible organization of believers, in covenant with one another under a written constitution which calls for, among other things, elders and deacons as leaders.

CBC is BAPTIST

— a body of believers in the historic stream of churches believing that the Bible teaches only professing believers should be baptized by immersion and admitted as members of the church.

CBC is REFORMED

— and identifies with the Reformed wing of the Protestant Reformation of sixteenth-century Europe and the Particular Baptist churches of seventeenth-century England. The Reformers understood the Bible to teach the sovereignty of God in the salvation of sinners, the perfect life and atoning death of Jesus Christ as the only basis for the acceptance of sinners with God, faith alone as the means by which sinners receive saving grace, and the Bible as the final authority on all matters pertaining to life and godliness.

(Not but by the empty hand of faith!)
SOLI DEO GLORIA
(None but God receives the glory!)
